About the experience
The flight lasts 60 minutes and is available for up to three people, depending on the selected option. Take-off takes place from the aerodrome, and the route includes Brașov, Râșnov, Bran Castle, Poiana Brașov, Zărnești, and the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains.
You will fly with a professional pilot aboard a light aircraft certified for scenic flights. From above, you will clearly see the transition between plains, hills and mountains, as well as the roads, towns and important landmarks throughout the region.
This experience is ideal for aviation enthusiasts, tourists and anyone who wants to discover the area from a different perspective. You can take personal photos and videos throughout the flight. Upon request, the itinerary can be adapted according to your preferences.

I have been flying since 1998, when I began flying Yak-52 military training aircraft.
I have 21 years of experience flying ultralight aircraft, including paragliders, powered paragliders and aeroplanes.
I have held a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) for general aviation aeroplanes since 2019.
I have logged more than 1,200 flight hours, including international flying experience.

Are flights available throughout the year?
Yes. Flights can be scheduled throughout the year, but their operation depends on weather conditions. If the weather does not allow the flight to take place safely, the experience will be rescheduled.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing suitable for the season and the temperature on the day of the flight is recommended. Wear comfortable footwear and avoid bulky accessories or items that could easily come loose.
Can I take photos and videos during the flight?
Generally, yes. You may take photos and videos during the flight, provided that you follow the pilot’s instructions and do not use equipment that could affect safety or passenger comfort.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes. Each flight has an individual or combined weight limit determined by the type of aircraft. The applicable limit is stated in the experience requirements and must be observed for flight safety.
Do I need to choose the flight date when booking?
No. If you have not chosen a date yet, you can schedule the flight later. The final date will be confirmed according to the pilot’s availability and weather conditions.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable for flying?
Flights only take place in suitable weather conditions. If the pilot determines that the flight cannot be operated safely, the experience will be rescheduled.
Can I offer the experience as a gift?
Yes. The experience can be purchased as a gift voucher without choosing the flight date immediately. The recipient can schedule the experience later, within the voucher’s validity period.
Where does the flight depart from?
The flight will depart from Piatra Craiului Aerodrome in Zărnești. After booking, you will receive complete details about the meeting time and exact access point.

I’m very pleased with how everything went. I had booked the flight some time ago, but we couldn’t fly because of the weather. I had also paid a small deposit, but this wasn’t a problem at all. For those who are worried about losing their deposit, we simply agreed on another date when the flight could take place under optimal conditions.
During the flight, you are given information about the areas you fly over. It was a very enjoyable experience, and the pilot was great as well—a genuinely nice person in every respect.
If you’re thinking about taking a flight, don’t hesitate. It’s a wonderful experience. I’m not saying this because I want a favour; I didn’t know the pilot beforehand and I have nothing to gain from this review. I found the experience online, booked it, and took the flight. Everything went very smoothly, and I definitely recommend it.
